  • Hello + Welcome!

I call hilly San Francisco home with my husband and wild child. I like wild, so I'd have it no other way. When I am not with my boys, I love to be out capturing life - people - in a fun and real way. It is work, but I get to laugh, play, cheer, and get excited … a lot.

Thanks for stopping by to visit my journal! Please make sure to leave a comment because I'd love to hear from you. It definitely makes my day.

Hope we connect some day soon!

This little ginger, so full of character, has her parents working around the clock for her.  But OH SOOOO worth it!

It was one of those lucky winter weekend evenings when it was not grey and raining, so we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marin Hills and Rodeo Beach.  If you haven’t been there, it is an absolute must for all ages – beach, hills, trails, bunkers….  and its just a short drive from the city!

Andreanna and Garrett were so great with everything I proposed.  They were ready to run, play, roll up their jeans to cross the stream – speaks a lot to their personalities and I could not have asked for more.

Displayed are a few highlights.  If you scroll to the end, I have a slideshow with the full engagement session.

Many times people don’t realize that every family and child has their own uniqueness.  That’s what I love about in-home family sessions – these unique characteristics tend to shine more naturally versus in a mini holiday session.  Kids are the kings and queens of their castle.  They feel the most comfortable there and are great hosts to showing me all their treasures.  It is also where I come across a first-I’ve-ever-witnessed moment, such as eating bubbles.  She wants to eat bubbles!  Completely real and as hilarious as can be.

This little one had me cracking up the WHOLE time!

I know this game!

One of my favorite moments to capture is that pure belly-busting laughter caught between a parent and child.

Wait for it, wait for it ……

Why pop bubbles when you can try to eat them?  I wonder what she would do in a snowfall??  😉

One can never have enough stuffed animal friends.

A session would not be complete without a traditional family photo.
