  • Hello + Welcome!

I call hilly San Francisco home with my husband and wild child. I like wild, so I'd have it no other way. When I am not with my boys, I love to be out capturing life - people - in a fun and real way. It is work, but I get to laugh, play, cheer, and get excited … a lot.

Thanks for stopping by to visit my journal! Please make sure to leave a comment because I'd love to hear from you. It definitely makes my day.

Hope we connect some day soon!

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge | Happiness

A couple weeks ago when the Bay Area was experiencing loads of rain, I felt like I was not going to get the images I wanted and would have to go with plan B.  But the sun broke a little giving me a narrow window of an opportunity to run atop of this mountain and grab a few shots.  Plus I loved the look of the sky so I just had to try something!  I quickly changed my babe’s shirt into his SUPERHERO BOY cape shirt and excitedly cheered “run!”  Only thing is the strong wind that I would normally feel, died down along with the rain and so I would not get the flying cape affect I sought.  No worries, the babe still had tons of fun and I had him run faster and harder to make his cape catch wind.  Lets just say he slept well that afternoon.

This theme came at a perfect time since I was already working on a happiness themed project.  There are more images to this series in the next blog post if interested.  I pulled this image out to add as a single entry for the I Heart Faces photo challenge – www.iheartfaces.com.

UPDATE:  I get a lot of inquiries regarding the cape shirt.  I have to say, this shirt is ultra cool, made with fabulous fabric, and is even safer than most capes because the cape is sewn into the shirt, not a knot around the neck.  You can see many more colors, and even get it customized, on the Glammic website.  Jena is the super savvy and creative owner.  Tell her hello!
