  • Hello + Welcome!

I call hilly San Francisco home with my husband and wild child. I like wild, so I'd have it no other way. When I am not with my boys, I love to be out capturing life - people - in a fun and real way. It is work, but I get to laugh, play, cheer, and get excited … a lot.

Thanks for stopping by to visit my journal! Please make sure to leave a comment because I'd love to hear from you. It definitely makes my day.

Hope we connect some day soon!

Double Anniversary!

I had the good fortune of working with Olivia in the nonprofit world a few years ago.  She was one of the main catalysts for steering me into the wedding industry.  Not that I photographed her wedding, but she had faith and trust in me – referring me to her friends.  So I owe it to Olivia for expanding my vision.

A few weeks back Olivia contacted me to photograph her 15 year anniversary with Jackson.  It was a total surprise for him and she wanted to include their dog, Chaisu.  And if you knew Olivia’s humor and vitality, it would not surprise you that she named her dog ‘BBQ pork’ in Chinese (and she’s a Registered Dietician!).  Jackson and Olivia adapted their dog from Rescue Dog Rocket 3 years ago, so it was kind of a double anniversary.  In fact, their first “blind date” to check each other out was at Crissy Field, and so hence we chose that as our location.  There were many laughs and entertainment as I yelled louder and louder, “chicken chicken, chicken, chicken, Chaisu want some CHICKEN?!”  (Note:  chicken is the ONLY thing that Chaisu will respond to).  I even was at a point of putting her food on top of my lens.  Whatever works!  But nonetheless, I’m loving it when my families and couples are bringing their dogs – they are part of the family after all.
